Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the fourth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), a cricket tournament in Pakistan. Six teams are participating in the tournament, including six franchise teams from the previous season and two new teams, Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars.
The tournament is scheduled to start from February 14, 2019, and end with the final match on May 22, 2019. In total, there are ten venues that will be used for the tournament: One in each city of Karachi and Lahore, and in Quetta. The matches in the PSL will be played in either first-class or professional cricket stadiums.
In order to ensure that the matches are being played in a fair manner, the Pakistan Super League has decided to implement the Point-Systems Limited (PSL) point system. Each team will be allowed a fixed number of over-the-air shots and a fixed number of free-balls each day. The points will be calculated based on the number of overs that a team has completed in a match and the number of wickets that are still in the hands of the opposing team. The team that has the highest points on the table at the end of the PSL will be declared the winner.
