DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation is a dating simulation game that is the third installment to the DATE A LIVE series and is the sequel to Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install. Based on the popular light novel series from Fujimi Fantasia Bunko—inspiring three anime adaptations and a movie—Rio Reincarnation follows the story of average highschool student Shido Itsuka, who discovers that he holds the ability to seal away the powers of the destructive Spirits. However, there is a catch to Shido’s power: to seal a Spirit's power, he must make each Spirit fall in love with him and make her kiss with him. In true dating sim fashion, you play as Shido and must conquer the 11 female characters’ hearts, with over 150 dating events. This third game includes exclusive light novel content and the full games of Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install combined. It’s a great sequel overall, however, this PC port struggles with proper text display and keyboard controls. The new characters exclusive to this game have also been given lackluster true endings.
